Our Story:
When the pandemic hit in 2020, it sent shockwaves through our lives, leaving many of us feeling lost and uncertain. But for Jin, it was a turning point. In the midst of the chaos, she met a mentor who introduced her to the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda. By incorporating the principles of Ayurveda into her life, Jin began a journey of self-discovery and healing. Her body transformed, becoming stronger and healthier than ever before. Even during her second pregnancy, she felt better than when she had her first child. Her family followed suit, seeing the benefits for themselves and also incorporating herbal supplements into their daily routine.
Jin's husband, Houjie, served in New Zealand Army for six years. But in late 2022, he was diagnosed with high blood pressure and the traditional medication he was prescribed caused adverse side effects. Recognizing the risks, he decided to resign from the army and turned to natural remedies. He found relief with herbal powder, which not only alleviated his symptoms but also improved his oxygen saturation. His health and fitness level returned to normal, and he knew these herbs could help others too.
The pandemic taught us that our health and well-being should be our top priority. That's why Jin and Houjie, the founders of Enlightenment Foundation Limited, decided to share their newfound knowledge and understanding with others. After two years of research and exploration, they acquired the brand Nature's Basket New Zealand and officially established their company in New Zealand in 2022.
